Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Gohar Ashraf joined Valley Children’s Pediatric Medical Group in October 2020 as a pediatrician at Magnolia Pediatrics in Clovis. Dr. Ashraf has a wealth of experience in both the hospital and clinic settings, and with robust teaching experience, including as an assistant professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Dr. Ashraf earned his medical degree from Hamdard University School of Medicine and Dentistry in Karachi, Pakistan, where he had several internship experiences in various areas of clinical care, including general surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and pediatrics. After medical school, Dr. Ashraf completed a pediatric residency at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan. 

In addition to English, Dr. Ashraf is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, swimming, and racquet sports, including table tennis and badminton.
