Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Nelson Eslao joined Valley Children’s Pediatric Medical Group in September 2022 as a pediatrician at Stockdale Pediatrics in Bakersfield.

Dr. Eslao previously practiced at Family Healthcare Network in Porterville, where he provided outpatient and inpatient pediatric primary care.

Dr. Eslao received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his pediatric residency training at New York Methodist Hospital, where he served as chief resident. 

Dr. Eslao believes in always giving every patient enough time to be heard and cared for. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
