Dr. Saul Diaz-Martinez joined Valley Children’s in August 2022 as a pediatrician at Adventist Medical Center in Fowler.

After earning his medical degree from the University of El Salvador in Central America, Dr. Diaz-Martinez went on to complete his pediatric residency training at Benjamin Bloom Children’s Hospital in San Salvador and at Bronxcare Health System in the Bronx, New York, affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York.

During residency, Dr. Diaz-Martinez participated in several quality improvement projects. His scholarly work and lectures cover topics including dengue fever and audiologic assessments in newborns.

Dr. Diaz-Martinez is fluent in English and Spanish.
