Thursday, May 23, 2024, Valley Children's Hospital Water Safety and Injury Prevention Programs with Safe Kids Central California will host our 18th annual MayDay! MayDay! Have a Safe and Health Summer! annual safety event for are first and second graders. This fun and informative event will be held at Chukchansi Park (Grizzlies Stadium) in downtown Fresno.
We want your school to join us for this fun, interactive and FREE event! More than 400 volunteers and 100 educational booths are ready to make this day a great one for you and your students.
Your only responsibilities are providing your school’s lunches and arranging for bus transportation to Chukchansi Park. As always, if you can accommodate your students’ parents, they are welcome to join us at the event as well. If they cannot ride on the school bus with you, they will be responsible for their own transportation, parking and lunch.
Safety Goodies Backpack
Courtesy of Valley Children’s Water Safety and Injury Prevention Programs, the first 2,500 first and second grade class students signed up will receive a string backpack at the Stadium with “safety goodies.” In order to qualify for the backpacks, sign your classroom up today!
